Impressive and commanding Antique French Oak Blanket Box which could serve its purpose for princely storage and also a stupendous stand alone furniture piece in a room of your choosing. Dating from 18thC the Oak is in splendid condition. The handles on the sides are original and are sturdy. The escutcheon is in place on the front panel. Inside, there is a box for what was storage of candles. The last photograph shows the large feet, dovetail detailing and bolts.
This item has been cleaned and gently waxed leaving it in its original condition and colour patina. An impressive piece of Antique furniture for your home.
