Antique Wrought Iron Boot Scrapes, Pair
-Handcrafted Georgian Wrought Iron, pair of boot scrapes, mounted in their original stone.
-Being a pair, these look superb either side of a door as they would have been in their Georgian time; or use separately.
-Used originally for removing mud or manure from the bottom of boots or shoes, leaves, snow and continue to do so now. Great for the back door.
-These boot scrapes are in great condition and the stone has lovely weathered patina.
-Together with historic use, pieces will have age related 'loved character marks'. We deliberately choose to leave as is, so as to keep integrity, singularity and complexion.
-h 38cm x w 48cm x d 28cm - bottom of stone to top of metal tip.
