Vintage Garden Bench, Barlow Tyrie -A really lovely Vintage Teak Garden Bench that would slot into your garden nestled in amongst the borders or on a patio. -All the slats are original and are good condition, the whole bench is solid and sturdy. The armrests are a good size and the bench is comfortable. -The whole bench is at that 'silvery' stage of grey which is so distinctive of Vintage Teak, covered with substantial lichen, mottling and spotting; which only adds to the beautiful characteristics of this garden bench.
-Contemporary or period style of garden, this piece would sit comfortably in both. -As with any Vintage piece of this age and quality, it has had loved weathering and time use as you would expect from the time it has had from the elements outside. -As with all pieces of this age there are of course, a few age related "character marks" and on close inspection you will find small old indentations, scuffs and light scratches.
-Together with years of historic use, it will also have those age related 'loved character marks'. We deliberately choose to leave these as is, so as to keep integrity, singularity and complexion.
