Interesting and very beautifully handmade Vintage Carver pair of Chairs from approximately 1960/70's, from Elm and Beech, making them incredibly durable and attractive. The wood design is so distinctive with both linear and curvature appeal.
Each Chair have round spindles at the back give rise to an elegant back bar and an astonishing rounded circular bent wood protruding forming the arm rests. The saddle seat is also elegant and has a fine 'H' stretcher for strength and structure.
A very fine pair of individual Carver Chairs that would look as good together at a time or indeed in a lounge room or bedroom.
These chairs have great patina with the hues and tone colouration from years of love, natural wear from being used and upon close inspection you will find small old indentations, scuffs, light scratches.
