Sadly, 1 in 4 women, who you will know, will have Breast Cancer sometime in their life.

Breast Cancer Care is the only UK based Charity dedicated to care for women in a sensitive and positive way. From advise on Cancer to breast reconstruction to helping to choose a wig...

So here's a little news about our Strawberry Tea for Breast Cancer Care.

Strawberries everywhere

We had lots of fabulous Strawberry donations, cake, scones, cake, strawberries,cake, mousses, tartlets and cake!

Delicious!

We had lots of lovely friends, family and customers come through our doors to have a really fabulous morning coffee or afternoon tea, filled with strawberry cakes or a strawberry cream scone or two.

We raised over £400 for this fantastic Charity. So thank you so very much to all of you who either donated a cake or two, ate a cake or two or bought a cake or two to take home with you.

Thank you to all of you, from donations of cash, to washing up, laying the tables out beautifully to the hot water urn. The crochet, handmade knitting and bracelets raised lots of extra money too. Everyone was fabulously generous.

With your support, women's lives can change for the better and every single penny we raised counts towards better Breast Cancer Care.

Thank you all so much for all your support.

Thank you everyone for a fabulous day, even the sun shone for us!

ST CATHERINE'S HOSPICE FASHION SHOW

23/04/15 ST CATHERINE'S HOSPICE FASHION SHOW...

What a lovely evening we had on Tuesday this week.

We popped ourselves along to The Haven, in Crawley Down in aid of St Catherine's Hospice Charity Fashion Show event.

It was absolutely wonderful! The fashion show was incredible, especially as all the clothes modelled were from their shops in Crawley and Horley.

You could easily have bought a whole new wardrobe of clothes! At fabulous prices too.

Thank you to my mum, Patricia, who helped me so much, and to Chris and Karen who brought along some of their quilting, crochet and cushions for display. John was brilliant as always with all the lifting and carrying and his support. It was a great evening and certainly a wonderful opportunity to buy clothes at fantastically affordable prices.

It is a perfect opportunity to up-cycle and recycle your clothes and that's exactly what we are offering to you too. We buy and sell your furniture, as well as offering a hand painting service for your unloved furniture. All in all, it's a great way to "drab" to "fab" and "unloved pine" to "simply devine"...

Key words of up-cycling and recycling meant so much this evening as all the money raised goes to keep St Catherine's Hospice going; it costs over £5million a year to keep its doors open to those who need such specialist care.

Pop along to your local St Catherine's Hospice, you might find something lovely to wear!

29/11/14 - CHRISTMAS CRAFT DAY SALE - LEAVE THE MASS PRODUCED STUFF ON THE SHELF!

Do say you will come!
Leave all the mass produced stuff on the shelf and really imagine the joy that your loved one, friend, family will have when they have a gift from you this year...

We all have fallen fowl of the regular shopping trips for Christmas presents, looking for that special, unique something, that you just don't see. It is difficult when lots of High Street shops buy the same style things in for their shops. So, why not change all that?

Our hand crafted, hand made, all with love, will certainly give you a wonderful chance to find something really unique and beautiful. A real treasure, a really thoughtful gift, and it will really say, I love you. We will have a pop up cafe, with mince pies, cake, coffee and tea - and donations from tea and cake sale will go to Hurstwood Park Neurological Hospital.

Pop by, even just for half an hour, we'd love to see you...

We are proud to have held our first "Mcmillan" coffee morning for Cancer Support. We raised over £130 - and still counting - which is absolutely fantastic.

Coffee, cake, laughter, raffle prizes and a whole lot of fun too.

THANK YOU to all our ladies for making lots of lovely delicious cakes and for all their hard work in helping today run so smoothly. Clearing up, washing up and chatting to everyone who kindly came today.

THANK YOU to Denise of Cyrnel Bakery, Forest Row, for making and donating the most delicious Lemon Meringue cake. My, it was outstandingly gorgeous.

THANK YOU to everyone who bought a raffle ticket and entered the Mcmillan competitions.

Cancer is a dreadful disease and it is not discriminatory in any way; young, old, rich, poor. Every penny raised adds up to lots of pounds for McMillan Cancer support. No-one should have to face cancer alone...
